Progressive Youth of Mississippi is IAJE's dynamic youth leadership program dedicated to empowering young immigrants and children of immigrants to become effective agents of change in their communities. Through grassroots organizing, leadership development, and civic engagement, we nurture the next generation of community advocates.

Our program creates safe spaces where immigrant youth can explore their identities, develop critical skills, and build collective power to address issues affecting their communities. From voter education campaigns on college campuses to cultural events that celebrate diversity, Progressive Youth members lead initiatives that strengthen immigrant voices across Mississippi.

Progressive Youth of Mississippi focuses on:

• Civic Engagement: Conducting voter education and registration drives across Mississippi universities

• Cultural Expression: Creating platforms for youth to express their experiences through art and storytelling
